“It is planned that until the end of January all traders in the TPS will enter the building and occupy the shops that have been prepared by the manager, especially for older traders to prioritize them as soon as possible,” said Suryanto.

Suryanto revealed that currently 1,900 shops had been prepared for traders. Where previously there were only 1,400 shops. He also said that for the interested community, there were still around 30 percent of shops that had not been filled.

“In the past only 1,400 we added another 500. From the building model, there were not many changes, in which the basement or LG floor and the 1st floor were still reserved for traders, only the second floor was occupied by Ramayana which took only half the floor. The other half was reserved for tenants. “Meanwhile, the third floor was taken by the XXI Cinema which is under construction,” said Suryanto, Thursday (1/23).

Another addition is to park four-wheeled vehicles, the manager has prepared a parking space on the roof with a capacity of 900 four-wheeled vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles around the building area, and can accommodate 2,000 to 3,000 two-wheeled vehicles.

Suryanto also added that by moving all traders into the building until the end of January, early February could immediately be demolished throughout all of the polling stations and the parking area around the building and other facilities could be immediately carried out. In addition, it is planned that in March, the Sukaramai Trade Center will be fully operational and will be officially opened by the mayor of Pekanbaru.
