The Lotus Tower located in Colombo, Sri Lanka is 350m in height and over 30,600 m² in floor area. It is the tallest self-supported structure in South Asia. The lotus-shaped tower will be used for communication, observation and other leisure facilities. It is visible throughout Colombo, its suburbs, and
most major highways radiating from and around the city. The landscaping is planned in the form of a large water park. Fujitec has installed six elevators and eight escalators; out of which three are 420mpm high speed elevators with capacity of up to 2000kg.
